WELCOME TO THE PAN AFRICAN ACADEMY!

It is great to have you here...

At The Pan African Academy, we are dedicated to making African history accessible and engaging for children everywhere. Through our dynamic online courses and educational resources, we empower young learners to explore Africa's rich past and study African history from antiquity to the present day; bridging the gap between children of the diaspora and their homeland.

WHAT WE OFFER

ONLINE AFRICAN HISTORY COURSES

Our interactive courses allow children to delve into African history at their own pace, fostering a deep and personal connection to the material.

Live lessons also offered.

WORK WITH SCHOOLS

We collaborate with educational institutions to enrich their history offering, ensuring the inclusion of comprehensive and accurate African narratives. This can be through planning sessions with history departments, or student workshops and assemblies.

MEET OUR FOUNDER

Ekaete Alfred is a passionate educator and committed Pan-Africanist with over a decade of experience teaching history in secondary schools across London. Recognising the urgent need for meaningful and authentic African history education, she founded The Pan African Academy - an online supplementary school where parents, schools, and organisations can all share in the teaching and learning of African history in a meaningful and authentic way.

Through The Pan African Academy, Ekaete creates expertly designed online courses and educational resources for parents who want to enrich their children's learning with African history beyond the traditional school curriculum.

She also works with schools and educators to diversify history curriculums, ensuring that African history is taught with depth, accuracy, and engagement.
